I do!
I need to shake things up now and then, so today, with wedding season just around the corner, I got my stones, shells, and glue gun out and this is what I came up with:
I’m also liking the little wreaths that I got the other day. I’m experimenting with colors; I spray painted one Deep Gray, and the other Ivory, and I’ve been playing around with shells and starfish. I think keeping it simple and uncluttered is the way to go with these 10” bases; this is what I’ve got so far:
I know… a couple of those are exactly alike, but I’m also playing around with backgrounds, for website/Etsy pics. I like the mustardy yellow.
I might add a little more to these - they’re pretty sparse, compared to my big outdoor wreaths - but that would involve collecting some small pieces of driftwood.
Here’s the wreath by the back door:
And here’s my front door wreath - same basic wreath - which I have repared many times; I’ve glued and wired the crap out of it! I was amazed that it hadn’t been totally demolished while we were out west this winter, by those damn chipmonks, squirrels or whatever’s been climbing up there. It’s only missing a few shells.
