Spring Cleaning

Now that I’ve returned to Maine (and Karen will be back at Hills Beach next month), it’s time to get organized - both in the studio and marketing-wise. I’ve become a little overwhelmed by the ever growing inventory, so here’s what I’ve done:

That old treadmill that used to be in the corner, above? It had become a dumping ground, so I gave it the heave ho! These crates provide much-needed storage for the ornaments, and some extra canvases and wood panels. I’m pretty damn proud of how clean my space is, so indulge me for a moment as I show it off a little… It’s not going to be this organized again for months, so let’s just savor this orderly scene:

And, following a mere suggestion by Karen, I’m off on a tangent, experimenting on some small indoor wreaths (after failing to stop the critters from dislodging, again and again, shells from the two larger wreaths hanging by my front and back doors…) as well as a little sailboat/driftwood ornament. It’s tough to stay focused sometimes, but it’s fun to try new things!

ALSO: Exciting news on the marketing front! In addition to getting this website more current, I’ve been adding more products to our Etsy site, and I now have an Artist Profile on the Kittery Art Association’s website: https://www.kitteryartassociation.org. I’m hoping to show some pieces at some of their member shows.
