What’s Happening?

What’s been going on in the studio this week? A little bit of everything! I’ve been playing around with driftwood and fabric:

I initially thought I might create a sailboat Christmas ornament, like the one below. It’s not very Christmasy, but still kinda cute, I think.

I was also in a flowery kind of mood:

I also painted the following, using a palette knife a little more than I usually do:

One more painting to highlight, because it’s the first time I’ve tried a 30x15” - I got a handful of these canvases because I need a long, vertical painting above my bed. I’m still experimenting, but here’s my first shot:

As this week comes to a close, let’s raise a glass to our Boston sports teams, the Bruins and the Celtics! They both have must-win playoff games this weekend… may they advance to the next round!
